Ending Support for IE7 Beginning November 1, 2012
It's time to say "Bye B-IE"…
Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) was originally released in 2006 and has long been showing its age as web development standards and techniques have moved on. IE7 lacks basic support for many modern web standards and new features.
Over the past several months, major companies such as Google, Facebook and Microsoft, plus leading software developers around the world like Drupal, WordPress and Joomla have all been making a concerted effort to end their need to support Internet Explorer 7.
IE7 usage was around 6% as of June 2011 and falling. IE7s marketshare continues to decline each month, as of this month, IE7 usage has dropped to 2% worldwide.
Testing and implementing IE7 specific fixes (or hacks) can be very time consuming. We had long debated when would be the right time to drop IE7 support. With its continued decline in usage, the wider dev community making the move and the imminent release of IE10, we feel that the time is now right.

Therefore, it's time to say so long to IE7! Beginning November 1st 2012 we will no longer support IE7 with our websites or extension releases.
Ending support for this aging browser allows us to take full advantage of newer, more efficient methods, as well as embracing many of the latest web technologies and standards to create richer, more powerful web products for you.
What you need to do:
We suggest to switch to a modern browser. Ideally you should transition to a web browser that rolls-out standardised behvior at a faster pace like Chrome, Firefox or Safari to ensure security and compatibility with today's web.
If this is not possible and you are required to remain on Internet Explorer, try to upgrade to IE9 or the newest IE10 release.
