Be it ideation, creation, collaboration or delivery, to user feedback and implementation of ongoing enhancements. I'm an ideas man with a can-do attitude and always have a solution to offer.

I am adaptable. Able to work with both technical and non-technical audiences, from developers and designers to project managers or clients. I utilise many methods to communicate concepts, visually, verbally and interactively.

Patient, and way cooler than a cucumber. I've built up and mentored junior team members, upskilled users, trained QA/RA teams, collaborated with Project Mangers and tackled the most indecisive of clients to get projects done.

I bring insight, experience and ideas to any project. More than comfortable getting involved at any phase. Experienced in designing digital and print communication materials for both SMEs and at the enterprise level (e-commerce, CRM, POS, exhibitions, presentations, annual reports, financial reports, marketing, internal communiques and intranets).

With significant exposure to Lean-first companies, I'm trained in Six Sigma, a big fan of Kaizen boards and continuous improvement.

Experienced with various PM tools (Jira, Trello, GitLab, GSuite, Microsoft365) able to estimate and deliver projects on budget, plan sprints or participate in Kanban/Scrum meetings, stand-ups or huddles working to Agile or Waterfall standards.

Forged in the bowels of the early internet, my technical abilities were acquired in the pre-framework days, initially hand-coding (X)HTML (table based!) websites and email templates for big-brands of that era like Nokia, T-Mobile, Orange and Vodafone. I partnered with a number of agencies, converting designs to HTML/CSS and crafting swishy interactive websites with ActionScript before Flash was killed off by the rise of the iPhone.

As the majority of my early career was spent in e-commerce I have always coded to achieve the best possible results in terms of performance, SEO, semantic HTML and accessibility.

Founder of Primitive Hosting, I'm experienced working with Windows and Linux platforms, via GUIs and the command-line.

We've provisioned, configured and manage shared web hosting, dedicated servers and virtual servers. Managing web hosting, web shops and content for clients, plus implementing a number of SaaS products both hosted and on-site. I've worked on Azure, hold a certificate for AWS and have experience or exposure to Vercel, Heroku, Netlify and GCP.

I have hands-on full-stack UI/web and app development experience in most of my roles. Spanning UI/UX and design to full website, application development or creation of middleware and SOAP/REST/GraphQL API integration of multiple systems.

I have a broad understanding of web security requirements including familiarity with OWASP recommendations.

Able to write and execute PQs for process, Cucumber, Chai and Mocha tests, I've worked with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions. Working extensively with manual validation experts delivering software to ISO standards.

An early adopter of working with WordPress as a Headless CMS, actively engaging with the Frontity project before COVID19 hit and the project was acquired by Automattic.

I have since worked with various enterprise Headless-CMS and JSON/GraphQl backends.

We're working to publish some plugins designed to simplify the deployment of 11ty-based Headless WP websites and PWAs while bypassing the heavy resource requirements frameworks like Angular or Next.js. Making Headless architecture more affordable and accessible to smaller clients.

With a post-grad in Web Design for International E-commerce, earned during my time in Barcelona as part of the Leonardo da Vinci programme.

I love a good problem, almost as much as I cherish a great solution. Spending my second professional quinquennium as the Lead Process & Technical Field Service Consultant for MasterControl, EMEA and Asia. Based in Hampshire but travelling extensively across the globe. During that time I designed, digitised or automated Quality Event Management processes for some of the world's biggest FMCG, pharma and medical manufacturers.

Experienced in data visualisation (both static and interactive) plus automating Google Data Studio (Looker) and Search Console reporting.
